We are looking for a Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator to join our busy, fun and dynamic marketing team. You need to be enthusiastic, confident and full of energy, with a passion for marketing and great communication skills.
About the role:
Reporting to a Marketing and Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans to support Hertfordshire Business School’s portfolio of courses and activities, leading to the recruitment of students.
You will be working with colleagues across the Business School and across the university to develop and implement marketing and recruitment activities and events that will engage prospective students and their parents.
You will also be responsible for executing and evaluating marketing initiatives and report on activities and competitor research with a view to improving and maintaining the University’s position. You will be required to work flexibly on and off campus, deliver presentations and represent the University at Higher Education/UCAS Fairs, open days and other recruitment events to provide information on what it is like to study at the University of Hertfordshire.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a previous marketing role and knowledge of the UK education sector, although we would welcome applications from exceptional candidates without this previous experience. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and be a good team player. A degree with significant marketing content or equivalent is essential.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as amended. The University requires that the successful applicant who is offered employment will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required and this will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions. Successful applicants from overseas will be required to produce a criminal records check, or ‘Certificate of Good Character’, from any country in which they have been resident, consecutively or cumulatively, in the previous 10 years.
