A permanent vacancy has arisen within the Student Planning Team of the Finance department for a planning professional with Business Intelligence expertise.
You will lead a team focussed on delivering high quality information and reporting via the Business Intelligence suite, to inform operational and strategic decision-making.
You will also support the production of the University’s regulatory returns and the analysis of performance in key indicators e.g. League Tables. You will co-ordinate the processes and developments that ensure student and planning data is robust, accessible and more widely understood across the university.
In doing so you will liaise with a range of stakeholders across the business, as well as support the day-to-day objectives of the planning function and any associated projects as necessary.
We are seeking a proactive individual with relevant previous Higher Education experience. You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, an ability to prioritise workloads to meet objectives, and be effective in changing situations. Experience of analysing data is required, along with proven report writing and administration skills, preferably in a BI reporting package, as well as a proficient working knowledge of MS Office.
