Growth Hubs are part of a national programme overseen by the government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.  The Growth Hub in Gloucestershire is a unique collaboration between the University of Gloucestershire and GFirst Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). The next phase of the Growth Hub will see the expansion of the existing facility at Oxstalls and the rollout of a network of new Growth Hub facilities across the county. 

The Growth Hub is recruiting to a number of positions for Business Guides on a full time or part time basis. Ideal candidates will have owned or operated at a senior strategic level within business and have industry experience in two or more of the following sectors: business and financial services, retail, manufacturing and engineering, creative industries, ICT, leisure and hospitality, sport, environmental services, food and drink, energy.

Business Guides identify and target eligible high growth-potential SMEs in the county providing intensive one-to-one business support and, through the development and delivery of Growth Plans, strive to assist forward thinking businesses to grow as quickly as possible.  

Against agreed targets you will manage a portfolio of business accounts.  Work with the Growth Hub Manager and marketing team to represent the Growth Hub at events and networking activities across the county.  Support and facilitate the development of Growth Hub activites in response to identified business needs.  Develop knowledge of service providers locally and nationally to provide a seamless service to Growth Hub clients.
