The main role in this post is to carry out duties associated with several work packages including data analysis/modelling and field work within the Department of Biosciences (College of Science). In particular, the person will carry out studies on mapping movements and activities of marine predators (especially seabirds) within the Irish and Celtic Seas. In addition, the person will carry out targeted field work to deploy GPS-enable Daily Diary tags. Finally, the person will liaise with operation partners both in Ireland and Wales to ensure successful completion of targets set within the BLUEFISH operation.
