The goal of HR Services is to support the University to deliver its strategic goals by attracting and developing a talented and diverse workforce. We now have a fixed-term opportunity until mid-August 2017 for an HR Advisor to focus on our campus services team who offer a wide variety of services across the whole University. This role would suit an already experienced advisor who is looking to expand their knowledge in a very unique environment. We are a multi-building, multi-site environment that employees people across a huge number of professions (including Student Accommodation and Catering, Car Parking and Estate Patrol, Conferences and Events, Maintenance, Planned Works, and Grounds).
In this role you will use your proven operational experience to support the Service over a full range of HR issues including absence management, successfully resolving staff issues and queries, performance management, and helping us develop and implement our workforce plans. A good knowledge of employment law and a CIPD qualification (or equivalent and demonstrable experience) are essential. You will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. You will have good numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office), especially data analysis and reporting.
