The University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management.

The Operations and Supply Chain Group (http://www.cass.city.ac.uk/research-and-faculty/faculties/faculty-of-management/operations-and-supply-chain-management) is a part of the Faculty of Management, and currently consists of 6 full-time members and 4 PhD students.

The group shares an interest in operations and supply chain management research, with the development of analytical models and applications in supply chain risk management, buyer-supplier relationships, inventory management, healthcare delivery, energy markets and sustainable operations management. Teaching is across BSc, MSc, MBA, and PhD programs, including its own MSc in Global Supply Chain Management, and ranges from business analytics to operations and supply chain management.

Based on the research output of the group in the last six years, City is rated among the top 50 universities globally for empirical research and amongst the top 100 for analytical research in operations and supply chain management by SCM World. Person Specification

The appointed candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field or be close to completion, and will have published research of world-leading or internationally excellent quality, or in the case of a junior candidate, will demonstrate strong potential to do so. The appointed candidate will also have excellent achievements in education.
