Senior Lecturer or Reader in Accounting

University of Sussex - Department of Business and Management

We are interested in recruiting a senior lecturer or reader to join a vibrant and growing group of accounting scholars. The successful applicant will have published outputs in excellent accounting journals on a theme related to the accounting group’s research interests. Key research themes include, but are not restricted to, accountability, performance management, accounting history, accounting in public sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs), accounting in emerging economies, and public-private-NGO partnerships. All successful candidates will be research active academics who enjoy working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, environment. They will need to have an enthusiasm for teaching and for collaborating with colleagues. Successful applicants will need to show promise of developing a strong research profile, evidenced by a pipeline of articles for potential publication in internationally rated journals.

Informal enquiries may be made with the Head of the Department of Business and Management School, Prof Sue Newell (sue.newell@sussex.ac.uk).
