Associate Professor/Professor in Work & Employment

University of Stirling - Stirling Management School

The Post

We are looking for outstanding academics with an international research profile and a passion for, and experience of, innovative teaching in the areas of Human Resource Management, Work and Employment. The post offers exciting and motivating prospects for the right candidate as the School operates a transparent workload model that recognises all teaching and academic administration activities and protects 40% research time. The University operates a form of devolved financial system so resources flow to the Management School and the Management, Work and Organisation Division according to recruitment and needs. Computing and teaching facilities are excellent, as is the newly refurbished library.

Staff are strongly encouraged and supported to attend conferences, and to network internationally. Workloads are comparatively light within the semester though there is a requirement for supervision of dissertations and projects across the year. A University research leave scheme allows focused time for specific research projects.
