We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Tourism Subject Group at Sheffield Business School. We are looking for people who have both strong subject knowledge and the ability to research and engage with industry as we aim to prepare the future generation of international tourism business leaders.

The subject group sits within the Department of Service Sector Management, which is consistently highly ranked in the Times and Sunday Times' league tables for our delivery of tourism, hospitality, and events. We are also proud to be one of only three universities in the world to achieve an EPAS accreditation for our undergraduate tourism and hospitality courses.

Students on our tourism courses benefit from vibrant, challenging and innovative learning experiences designed and delivered by a research active and industry engaged academic team.

To join our team, you'll have strong subject knowledge in tourism management and experience of teaching to at least undergraduate level. You will also demonstrate the ability to contribute to our research, consultancy or knowledge exchange portfolio. A doctorate (or about to complete) is essential. The ability to work both independently and within our dynamic team is also vital in this role.
