What you’ll do

BPP Business School is recruiting to accommodate the rapid growth being achieved by the School across our Accountancy programme.  We are looking for a highly motivated, practitioner-experienced lecturer to bring high quality teaching and module leadership into the School.

The role of faculty in the Business School is to ensure that students in the Business School receive a premium experience.  This is achieved via delivery of the highest quality tuition and module leadership.

The key duty of Associate Faculty will be teaching (online and/or face to face), but there is also the opportunity to undertake a variety of additional duties including, but not restricted to, module leadership, curriculum design, assessment marking and project supervision across the wider Business School.

Role requirements


  • Relevant Professional Qualification(s) applicable to your subject area and level of teaching (E)
  • A teaching qualification (at any level) relevant to the discipline (D)
  • A teaching qualification or Fellowship of the HEA or a commitment to achieving either of these through BPP’s PGCPE (Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Education) or Headway, BPP’s accredited CPD scheme (D)


  • Significant practitioner experience in your field (E)
  • Some experience in teaching at the graduate or professional level or OF delivering training and seminars in a commercial context, especially in the subject matter to be taught (D)


  • Excellent written communication skills (E)
  • Excellent presentation skills (E)
  • Commercially and educationally focussed with leadership and coaching skills (E)
  • Excellent computer/IT skills (E)
  •  An adaptive and responsive approach to workload and the ability to proactively prioritise accordingly (E)
  • The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative (E)
  • Good communication and active listening skills (E)
