We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HCPC registered diagnostic radiographer or other registered health professional to enhance the education of our students. You will join one of the largest health education providers in the UK and will be part of a dynamic and innovative team who are at the forefront of learning and teaching developments.  Applicants will have a Diagnostic Ultrasound background and must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to take initiative as well as work within a team

The successful applicant will have a good first degree in diagnostic imaging or equivalent and ideally either have, or be studying towards, a Masters. Doctoral level study would also be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in the delivery and assessment of the postgraduate Diagnostic Ultrasound programme.  It is anticipated that this will include both clinical visits and teaching at the University.  Clinical visits will include formative and summative clinical assessments.  University teaching will involve contributing in the delivery of the taught programme to include elements such as physics and a range of clinical applications modules.

Our post graduate provision encompasses a wide range of CPD opportunities from short courses to full Masters’ programmes and doctorate study. The successful applicant will play an active part in the education of students and taking forwards the research strategy within the Department and in developing the research environment alongside other staff.

All our programmes are supported by world-class learning resources, comprehensive on site skills facilities including a Diagnostic Ultrasound Laboratory and extensive web based resources that can be accessed from office or home.
