The successful candidate will contribute to research informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You must have advocacy experience and be able to teach Barristers skills on the Bar Professional Training Course. You will also undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile.

You must be a qualified Barrister with significant experience practising at the Bar of England and Wales, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. A PhD qualification is desirable, however professionally qualified applicants with a research profile who are not currently completing a course of doctoral studies, will be supported to enrol on an appropriate doctoral programme and fully engage with a programme of relevant legal research.
