PhD Studentship Opportunity (Fully funded)

We have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual on our PhD programme. You’ll be based primarily on campus looking at optimising coatings formulations with enhanced adhesion for challenging environments. At the University you will be part of the Surface & Interface Reactions Group in the Engineering Materials Research Centre. The project will be funded by Beckers Industrial Coatings.

You’ll need to have a good undergraduate degree (first or upper-second class honours as a minimum) in Chemistry or Materials Science. You must also be eligible for academic fees rated at Home / EU.
