Lecturer – Creative Arts Student Engagement and Skills Lead

FTE: This is a full time position working 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Duration of Contract: Permanent position

The School of Creative Arts is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to lead our Student Engagement Team in further developing the vibrant and diverse academic learning community of the School. Alongside this coordinating aspect of the role, the post holder will teach up to 200 hours of skills development, leading a small team to deliver support in academic writing and other transferable skills.

The successful candidate will be vital in shaping and driving collaborative and co-curricular activities across the School, as well as working with other colleagues in the University to share innovative practice.

You will have a qualification in an area of Creative Arts, or similar, with experience of teaching in a relevant discipline in Higher Education, including the teaching of skills.

We particularly encourage applications from women and people from ethnic minority backgrounds who are under-represented in the University in this discipline.
