Student Support Assistant


We have an exciting opportunity for an existing or aspiring Student Support Assistant  to join us at our centre – ONCAMPUS Reading.

The Student Support Assistant will be the first point of contact for students and is responsible for day to day enquiry handling for ONCAMPUS students. The Student Support Assistant will act as a referral point to provide students with support, guidance, information and impartial advice.  The post holder will work collaboratively with the Curriculum Information Officer (CIO) to ensure that student data is kept up to date and attendance is correctly recorded. The post holder will support the colleagues and the Centre Head in helping students to find accommodation.  The Student Support Assistant is also responsible for the management of the Centre’s Social Media platforms and provision of a programme of social events for the students throughout the academic year. General administrative support, as required, will be part of the role.
