Postdoctoral Researcher - Epidemiological Psychiatry

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher to join a team working on a Wellcome Trust funded project developing and validating clinical prediction riles in psychiatry and criminal justice, primarily focussing on the prediction of suicide and violent crime. The project is led by Professor Seena Fazel

The post is for a fixed-term (funded to 31 October 2019).

You will be working with data managers to create the appropriate data sets, and be conducting and coordinating a series of epidemiological studies as well as managing the timelines for the completion of the project. The position is ideally suited for applicants interested in pursuing a research or clinical research career.     

You will have or be close to completion of a PhD in epidemiology/statistics or a relevant discipline along with proven expertise in designing, running, analysing and writing up research studies. Knowledge of other statistical programmes, e.g. STATA, R, SPSS would be desirable.  

You will be required to upload a covering letter/ supporting statement and a CV as part of your application.
