Teaching Fellow

University of Bath - Department for Health

The University of Bath’s Department for Health is a leading Department for Sport, Health and Exercise Science and related Allied Health disciplines. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow who will make a significant contribution to teaching capacity in Sport and Social Sciences, focusing especially on: the Sociology of Sport, Health, Physical Activity, and the Body; Research Methods; and Social Theory. The successful applicant will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant sports-related discipline and preferably a PhD, with some experience in supporting undergraduate teaching.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our range of highly rated undergraduate and postgraduate offerings, including our BA (Hons) Sport and Social Sciences programme and our Foundation Degree (FdSc) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) Sports Performance programmes.

This is a full time, fixed term post to cover maternity leave with an expected end date of June 2018 or the early return of the postholder.
