The Open University is the world’s leading distance learning institution. The Open University’s Faculty of Business and Law is currently expanding its undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and is seeking to recruit  Student Experience Manager on a 3 years Fixed Term Contract to 31 July 2020, willing and able to make a significant contribution to the Student Experience.

The Student Experience Manager’s role is diverse and challenging, embracing the management of Associate Lecturers, advice and support to students including the design and development of targeted learner and learning interventions and contribution to module/programme development.

You will work closely with staff in the Business and Law Schools Student Support Teams, the Faculty and University’s other Student Support Teams, National colleagues as well as with other colleagues based in the Faculty at Milton Keynes.

You will need a relevant qualification at Masters level or equivalent; a successful record of managing people; an understanding and experience of the pedagogy underlying distance teaching and learning;  demonstrable experience of using  technologies to support online learners, the ability to be flexible, resilient and a team player; and to be computer literate. Experience of teaching business or law is desirable.
