EPAD Proof of Concept Clinical Project Manager

Located at the Bioquarter, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the Centre for Dementia Prevention is looking to recruit a full time trial clinical project manager to coordinate and project manage the EPAD Proof of Concept (PoC) study. EPAD is an ambitious pan-European IMI (Innovations in Medicine Initiative) project led from the University of Edinburgh by Prof Craig Ritchie.  The post-holder will help support pre-study set-up, study initiation, on-going project management and study close out for the Proof of Concept study. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with broad clinical research experience to support the operational delivery of this pivotal part of the EPAD programme in the field of dementia prevention that is a cornerstone of the new Centre for Dementia Prevention (CDP).

Applicants should have relevant experience in clinical research management, competence in application of Good Clinical Practice and Quality Assurance and budget management expertise. Good communication, IT, planning and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to work both independently, and, in a multidisciplinary team.

This post is full-time, to start as soon as possible and is funded until December 2019 reflecting the duration of the EPAD grant funding this post.
