Nexus ICA offers a BA Hons in Popular Music and Worship in partnership with the University of West London. This is a unique opportunity to bring order and efficiency to the world of higher education through the administration of a course which is designed to educate the whole person for work within the music industry and/or Christian ministry.

About the Role

Nexus ICA is looking to appoint a highly skilled, organised and motivated individual to provide administrative supportive to an inspirational learning environment where students develop their understanding of the Bible and its application to a life of worship. Working primarily with the Director of Education, you will be responsible for making sure all administrative elements of the course run smoothly. Responsibilities will include timetabling and room management, the administration of assessments and marking, handling course communications with our validating body and external bodies including the preparation of documents and reports.

Essential Skills:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and methodical in their approach
  • Has an eye for detail and an ability to think through complex challenges such as timetabling
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Is committed to supporting students academically and pastorally
  • Is able to plan ahead in order to manage a fluctuating workload so as to deliver in a timely manner
  • Has a proven ability to work as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Degree or a relevant vocational qualification at level 4 or above.
  • A proven track record of working within a Higher Education administrative setting
