Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing Prose Writing

The School of Liberal and Performing Arts is seeking to strengthen the University’s successful and expanding Creative Writing programme, which includes the BA in Creative Writing and the MA in Creative & Critical Writing. We require one full-time lecturer or a number of fractional lecturers to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules in prose writing and to contribute to postgraduate prose writing provision. The capability to contribute to modules in other modes and genres, such as drama or poetry, would be viewed as an asset but not a requirement. The new appointment will be a writer with a successful track record of publication in prose fiction, scholarly engagement with creative and critical practice, and experience of the wider writing industry
