We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our small team. Your role will primarily be to assist and support the Course Director in providing a first class support system for the successful Licensee Training for the University students and researchers provided by the Biomedical Services Department. In time you will also have the opportunity to work with other support functions in the department such as the accounts team and HR if necessary.

You will undertake a range of general administration duties ranging from being the first port of contact by phone or email , filing, photocopying and dealing with correspondence and equipment management to assisting with all aspects of the training courses, from registration to sending certificates to successful delegates.

You will hold 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above as well as having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Word and Excel, and the internet. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work well with a range of people, under pressure and be able to manage your own workload; you will be efficient and well organised.

This is a permanent position. You will be responsible to and line managed by the Course Director but you will be supervised by the Home Office Liaison Administrator.
