SPH hosts two Medical Research Centres including the MRC-PHE Centre for Environment and Health. The project support work will be conducted in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Public Health which has a long and rich tradition of conducting research work of the highest calibre. The MRC-PHE Centre for Environment and Health brings together scientists from ICL and King’s College and is a world leader in the fields of exposure assessment, large scale epidemiological studies, and molecular epidemiology.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator looking to develop their career in a research environment. The post-holder will coordinate a number of epidemiological projects as well as work on new projects being developed. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of working commitments and supporting the work of the staff team. He/she will be responsible for supporting the coordination of projects in the area of socio economic status SES and healthy ageing, Environmental and Molecular Epidemiology and working on the LIFEPATH and Exposomics projects in addition to studies on biomarkers and chronic diseases.

You will have strong communication, office management, website management and excellent Microsoft Office skills to support dissemination activities on the project. The post holder will hold a good level of education with a first degree or equivalent preferably in sciences or social sciences highly desirable.

This position is a full-time, fixed term until 30 September 2018.
