Applications are invited for a fixed term postdoctoral research associate position at the Institute for Particle Physics Phenomenology [IPPP], based within the Physics Department. The successful applicant will play a key role in the development, maintenance and support of the SHERPA event generator and its use in high energy experiments at the LHC. Applications from candidates with a strong record of engagement with experimental groups are encouraged.

The successful candidates will have an excellent research record in Monte Carlo event generators and will have an important role to play in the maintaining of the Institute as a world-class centre for particle physics event simulations and a key facility for the UK particle physics community.
