Job Summary and Purpose:

The Admissions Officer Statistics post is a key role in the team which manages the admissions process at Durham University. They will work alongside the Head of University Admissions to manage the design, production and analysis of complex management information to inform and develop University strategy and policy. The post holder will produce modelling and forecasts that will be used to make organisationally-critical student recruitment decisions.

The post holder will also play a key role in future IT developments, working closely with colleagues in Computing and Information Services. The post holder will be required to keep abreast of national trends in recruitment and admissions to ensure that management information is provided in context. They are supported in this role by a Deputy Admissions Officer, who reports to the Admissions Officers but is currently line managed by the Admissions Officer Statistics .
