This is a key role for UCL Innovation and Enterprise within the Information and Project Management unit. The Information and Project Management unit has the responsibility to develop and deliver the IT, MI and project management approaches and systems required to support and deliver the UCL Innovation and Enterprise strategies, and the UCL 2034 London strategy.

Within this unit, the Senior Project manager will be responsible for overseeing UCL Innovation and Enterprise projects and managing the project management team.

The post holder’s primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver projects for UCL Innovation and Enterprise. This includes the day-to-day planning and management of the resources required to deliver these and to do so within the specified constraints of time, cost, scope and quality. Their work will be in accordance with general priorities set by the UCL Enterprise strategy and other standards. A particular focus will be the oversight and management of the delivery of the UCL 2034 London implementation strategy.

The job requires close working with the Directors of the UCL Innovation and Enterprise units. For all aspects of this role, the post holder will have to build and lead groups and teams across UCL, comprised of UCL staff at all levels. To enable this, the job holder will be an excellent communicator with an in-depth knowledge of innovation and enterprise projects, and of using project management practices to effect change.
