Full-time fixed term contract for 12 months

In this role you will provide general support for the day-to-day running of the genomics hub laboratory for the Leicester Mesotheliomas research programme. You will be involved in the development and implementation of new methodologies and research models as well as conducting defined experiments and providing technical support to members of the group.

The ideal candidate will be educated to ONC or NVQ3 level with prior laboratory experience and an understanding of the regulations for managing and using human samples. You will also have technical skills in microarray based analysis, DNA extraction and PCR.
