Senior Lecturer/Senior Teaching Fellow in Business

Contribute to the regional, national and international development of business and management provision at one of the UK’s largest business schools. You’ll build on our successful UG and PG business portfolio, as well as strong links with employers and professional bodies including CIM and CMI. Joining Birmingham City Business School at our city-centre building, you’ll ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning, teaching and assessment methods.

All roles will support continuing academic developments within the Department of Strategy, Management and Marketing but Senior Lecturers will already hold a Doctorate or be close to completion with experience in HE and will combine teaching with research and Senior Teaching Fellows will be directly involved in leading student experience initiatives with teaching. With industry and teaching experience, you’ll have delivered at a combination of undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional levels at module and/or programme level.

With over 60 academics, the Department covers a wide range of teaching and is flexible about the subject area you bring.  Programmes and modules within SMM include UG Business, Management, Operations, Strategy, Marketing, HR and PG is the home of the MBA and Management Masters Suite.

A willingness to teach across a range of modules and programmes at UG and PG is essential.
