Senior Research Associate

Applications are invited for a BBSRC-funded Senior Research Associate at the School of Computing Sciences, University of East Anglia with Prof. Vincent Moulton and Dr. Tamas Dalmay, School of Biological Sciences. The associate will work on development of computational tools for analysis of high-throughput, short RNA sequencing experimental data (http://srna-tools.cmp.uea.ac.uk/).

He/She does not necessarily require a background in biology, but will have or expect to be awarded a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in computing science, bioinformatics or related discipline (award or to be awarded within 6 months of appointment), and should have strong programming and software development skills. You must also be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.  

The full time post is available from 16 October 2017 for a fixed term period until 16 March 2018.
