Innovation Centre Coordinator (LORIC)

Bishop Grosseteste University - Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre

This is initially a fixed-term, full-time, contract to the end of June 2019.

Bishop Grosseteste University are looking to appoint an experienced, responsive and determined individual to support the Innovation Centre Manager to deliver a significant and exciting multi-year project jointly funded by EU ERDF. This high-profile role will have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the new ‘Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre’ (LORIC).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Being a first point of contact for the Innovation Centre, both internally and externally
  • Providing a full range of administrative services, including maintenance of spreadsheets, word-processing, document preparation, dealing with telephone calls, e-mails, receiving visitors
  • Developing systems and policies to ensure that ERDF/BGU procedures are known and followed, keeping up to date with any alterations of policy and disseminating this information internally as required
  • Implementing and managing the necessary data and document management processes to ensure the correct information is made available for audits.
  • Organising venues, hospitality and all related requirements for events held in the Innovation Centre; corresponding and liaising with all parties and assisting in the running of these activities
  • Providing training and support to any apprentice, work experience placement or intern that may be employed within the Innovation Centre Support Team; maintaining confidentiality and building mutual trust

Previous experience of ERDF/ESF project delivery would be an advantage.
