A Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious materials physicist to undertake research in the field of graphene based membranes. The post is tenable from September 2017 for up to 24 months. You will join a vibrant team of researchers who have been at the forefront of graphene research since its discovery in 2004. Using our state-of-the-art laboratory, measurement and microfabrication facilities you will drive forward a new project to investigate mass transport and separation properties of 2D materials based membranes.  

You will hold, or be about to obtain, a PhD in materials physics or a closely related field. Experience in graphene and related materials synthesis and characterisation, membrane science and technology would be advantageous. You should be well-organised and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. A strong publication record in internationally peer-reviewed journals is also essential.
