Research Fellow in Evidence Based Policing

You will support the work of the Evidence Based Policing (EBP) Clinic developed in collaboration with Cleveland Police, including EBP related teaching activities and the supervision and management of a range of research projects assigned to the EBP projects Clinic. Where appropriate you will teach EBP on undergraduate and postgraduate research method modules and supervise EBP final year research projects.

You must have a PhD in a relevant subject area as well as the relevant technical, professional or specialist knowledge to carry out this role. Expertise in Policing, Criminology, Criminal Justice and Evidence Based Research in Policing is essential as well as the ability to direct and engage in high level research.

The Tees Valley is an enjoyable place to live – in the heart of the North of England’s coastline and countryside, with easy access to Durham, Newcastle and York.
