Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Construction Law

The School of the Built Environment and Architecture at LSBU has excellent links with industry,commerce and the professions, which together with first class applied research make us exceptionally well equipped to offer our students industry-relevant education.

We seek an innovative and results-oriented professional to contribute to teaching,research, and other academic duties in Construction Law.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and teacher, committed to collegial practice and to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.

You will have a Bachelors and a Postgraduate degree in Construction Law or closely related subject, and some professional work experience and teaching experience in the subject area in the UK. Ideally, candidates should hold, or be close to obtaining professional qualifications.

Specialist knowledge and skills, indicative of ability to teach in both specialist and generalist roles across the curriculum in Construction or Property Law and formal/informal dispute resolution is required. You will be required to carry out research and/or consultancy or other professional and scholarly activities in the field of Construction Law.
