Postdoctoral Scientist x 2 - Structural Studies

MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology

Applications are invited for two postdoctoral scientist positions, for a period to 30 April 2020, to work in the lab of Venki Ramakrishnan. The successful applicants will be using structural biology to address the mechanism and regulation of translation.

Candidates should have or be about to obtain a Ph.D. in a relevant field, experience in the high-resolution structure determination of macromolecular complexes using cryoelectron microscopy or x-ray crystallography, and a record of high-quality publications.

The successful candidates will be awarded an MRC Career Development Fellowship/MRC Postdoctoral Training Scheme, for a fixed-term period. This is a training and development position for a Postdoctoral Scientist who has recently completed doctoral studies or is moving into a new research discipline.
