Research Associate / Fellow in Organic and/or Automated Synthesis

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to join the vibrant and dynamic team of Prof. Lee Cronin (Complex Chemical Systems Group – www.croninlab.com). The researcher will be working in the areas of organic / inorganic synthesis with experience of multi-step synthetic procedures.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in either synthetic organic or inorganic chemistry with experience of multistep reactions or automated synthesis, including organic synthesis, peptide, nucleic acid, or polymer chemistry. Additional expertise in flow chemistry, automation and control and or programming would be highly beneficial.

For appointment at grade 8 some, appropriate, post doctorial experience in multiple areas as listed above, or at the interdisciplinary interface and / or some expertise in running a team would be required.

This post has funding for up to 2 years in the first instance.
