Lecturer in Microbiology

The School of Chemistry and Biosciences wishes to appoint a lecturer in microbiology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop an active research group and to deliver teaching of molecular aspects of microbiology. The post will sit alongside recent appointments in Chemical Biology and Biomaterials Chemistry and will be particularly attractive to candidates with a strong desire to work in multi-disciplinary teams, both at Bradford and overseas, focused on anti-microbial resistance. The School is well equipped for research in microbiology and supporting the growth of the area is a priority for the School.

Applicants will have a strong record of publication in microbiology probably backed up by some success in raising funding. We are searching for candidates with also a keen interest in developing the teaching of the area with some experience of teaching or supervision of undergraduates.
