University Teacher in Computer Science

Fixed Term until 31 August 2018

The Department of Computer Science requires a suitably qualified University Teacher to support academic staff in the Department in the preparation, delivery and assessment of Undergraduate, specifically in the area of Formal Specification, Functional Programming,Computer Graphics and Computer Systems.  This is a full-time fixed term post until 31 August 2018.

The post holder will be required to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and carry out the associated assessment and examining processes using a suitable range of methods and techniques. They will also be responsible for the design and content of specific areas of teaching and learning within the Department's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

They will have a PhD in Computer Science with a topic specifically related to wireless sensor networks and data fusion and have experience of research within wireless sensor networks and data fusion. They will also have experience of delivering lectures and practice sessions in Computer Networking Principles and Protocols.
