Impact and Evaluations Manager

Contract: Initial 2-year contract

Challenging Learning is an independent consultancy group based in the UK, Australia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. It was founded on the experience of teaching thinking skills and Philosophy for Children (P4C) to young people and teachers across North East England during the 1990’s and early 2000’s. Today it employs 30 staff in 6 countries and is engaged in long-term projects with pre-schools, schools and colleges around the world.

We are now seeking an Impact and Evaluations Manager to lead all our evaluation processes, and to design systems and tools for the collection and analysis of impact data.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the analysis of evidence in support of educational outcomes. They will have a background in social science research methodologies, exceptional analytical and report writing skills, be organised and able to meet tight deadlines. 

The job will be based at our head offices in Alnwick, Northumberland. It will involve working with the Consultancy Quality Assurance Team to analyse the impact of our long-term processes and the preparation of project and quarterly management reports. Line management of the Evaluations Team will be a key part in the role, communicating priorities and objectives.
