Faculty Administrator, Arts (Part-Time)

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Faculty of Arts, to provide invaluable administrative support to the senior management teams across the faculty.

Working directly with the Faculty Executive Assistant, you will deliver an administrative support service, including aspects such as: diary management; travel itineraries; arrangement and preparation of documents for meetings; minute taking; the drafting of responses to letters of a confidential nature; and email correspondence.

With a strong customer-focused approach, flexibility, and significant relevant experience ideally gained from working within a busy office environment supporting senior managers, you must hold GCSE minimum grade C (or equivalent) in English & Maths.

You will have excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills, as well as a proven ability to manage multiple customer requirements whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy. Experience using a range of IT systems and packages (including MS Office) is essential, including the use of electronic diary systems.

This is a permanent, part-time post. Hours of work are 29 hours per week (a minimum of 25 hours per week may be considered), to be worked over four or five days that must include a full day on a Wednesday and some hours on a Friday.
