The University of Bolton has set out on an ambitious enhancement agenda as a 'teaching intensive, research informed' University and is looking to recruit an Accountancy Assistant to assist in the preparation of the University’s budgets, forecasts and transaction processing.

Working closely with the members of the finance teams you will be responsible for providing support for the finance and accounting functions within the Finance Office.

The role holder will be expected to work both independently and as an effective member of a team in providing support to both internal and external customers.

Ideally you should be AAT or part qualified accountant and with experience of the requirements for this role, although this does not have to be in the Higher Education sector.

You should be team worker with good interpersonal skills and be flexible in work patterns if required.
