A full-time permanent experimental post, to be based at The University of Manchester’s Dalton Cumbrian Facility (DCF) are now available, providing an exciting opportunity to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be part of the DCF Professional Support Services team, working on the development and provision of novel and innovative accelerator science experiments for our ever expanding user community, and interacting with the user community to shape and deliver world-leading scientific experiments in the areas of radiation chemistry and material damage. As part of the team you will also directly support the maintenance of the accelerator systems and contribute to the overall safe, effective operation of DCF. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent experience, is an essential requirement of both posts.
