Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing in Society

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our expanding Health and Wellbeing in Society staff. You will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of subject areas such as: psychological principles/theories in relation to health, social research methods, and be prepared to be involved in interdisciplinary teaching. Candidates with experience and knowledge around Black, Asian and Minority Ethinic groups would be especially welcome. The applicant would be expected to engage with staff development to fully support and improve the experience of the students.

Ideally you should have a PhD or be willing to work towards one. You should be qualified in a health, public health, health promotion, or health psychology related subject at postgraduate level and be committed to the educational development of students and healthcare professionals. Ideally you should have experience of module leadership and development and have a commitment to embedding equality and diversity within teaching, learning and assessment strategies. The school encourages innovative teaching and developing new and novel ways for students to engage with the subject.
