This distinguished award, funded by the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, with support from Wellcome ISSF, offers pump-prime funding to promote the careers of outstanding non-clinical early career researchers. It will provide the underpinning resource and excellent research environment from which to launch successful external fellowship or personal grant applications.

Applications can be aligned to any discipline within FBMH remit. One of the Fellowships on offer must be in the field of cancer sciences

We will provide a salary for up to three years, plus a consumables fund of up to £10,000 per annum. It is expected that by the end of the award, you obtain an externally funded Fellowship, Investigator Award or significant external grant funding, leading to the opportunity for you to be appointed to a permanent, baseline funded Lectureship or Senior Lectureship.
