College Research Manager – College of Physical Sciences and Engineering

As the College Research Manager, the post-holder will be required to provide high-level and broad-ranging advice and coordination of support to the College, assisting with the development and implementation of the College’s Research Strategy. This will include working closely with the College Dean of Research, International and Postgraduate Research, Heads of School, Directors of Research, Impact Champions, School Managers, Research administrators and corporate professional services departments to aid the delivery of the College’s key objectives in this area, project managing elements as appropriate. As such, the post-holder will be expected to forge successful working relationships with a wide range of corporate, College and School staff, as well as the Innovation System.

The post-holder will also provide professional support to the College’s Research Forum, Impact Network and Research Administrator Network and International Forum and will work with them to enhance the research environment in the College to support the University’s Way Forward targets.

This role is full-time (35 hours a week) and open-ended.
