Researcher Development Support Officer

University of Huddersfield - Research and Enterprise

The Research & Enterprise Service is looking to appoint a researcher developer to an exciting new role.  This is a chance to work in an expanding area, in a small, friendly team whose goal is to foster a positive environment through supporting researchers at all levels across the University.

The Researcher Development Support Officer will support the operation and development of the skills and personal development programme for staff researchers and Post Graduate Researchers, working to provide continuous improvements within the Researcher Environment team and supporting the Head of the section in delivering excellence.  Building on an existing programme of workshops, the team plans to develop its online provision and you will play a key role in this.

Enthusiastic and proactive, you will need the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders, including PGRs and experienced academic, professional and administrative staff. Educated to degree level as a minimum, you will have an interest in supporting research and be motivated to develop an awareness of good practice in researcher development.

In return, we offer generous rewards including a final salary pension scheme, 30 days’ annual leave and a range of voluntary benefits.

Informal enquiries are welcome, please contact Anna Seabourne a.seabourne@hud.ac.uk or 01484 472019.
