Senior Lecturer in Construction (0.7 Fractional Post)

To strengthen our commitment to delivering high quality education and research we are seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our experienced team of academic staff.  You will be involved in the development and delivery of a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of construction and surveying.  You will also be expected to contribute to our research and knowledge transfer activities.

You will have academic qualifications in a relative field, appropriate experience in the construction industry or its associated professions, and full membership of the Chartered Institute of Building.

You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the following areas; Construction technology and management in relation to domestic, industrial and commercial buildings; Site surveying: Project management & planning; Environmental engineering, building services and low carbon technologies; Regulatory Compliance, Fire Safety and Building Regulations; Digital Construction.

Academic experience is not essential, but you will have outstanding communication skills and a commitment to excellence and innovation in learning and teaching.
