Law Tutor/Training Material Writers

We are looking for experienced legal writers/tutors to prepare training materials on business law and practice, property law and practice, civil litigation and dispute resolution, criminal law and practice, and wills and probate.

The work includes various elements such as writing new course content, updating textbooks, preparation of practice questions and mock exams for self-assessment, and checking content for quality assurance purposes.

Tutors/writers must be either qualified solicitors or barristers and have relevant experience in teaching undergraduate or postgraduate law modules, e.g., LLB, GDL, LPC and BPTC.

Tutors will work on a consulting basis. The work is flexible and can be done from home or office. No communication with students required. It is an excellent opportunity for part-time tutors or practitioners.

The scope of the work will be further explained to qualified candidates.

Remuneration will be discussed once the scope of the work has been agreed.

Requirements

  • Teaching in LLB, GDL, LPC and BPTC programmes of the core areas and skills, or proven practical experience on either business law, civil and criminal litigation and procedure, property law and practice, and wills and probate.
  • Ability to write high-quality training material
  • Innovative and creative thinking
