The Course Officer is responsible for managing the day to day operations and administration of the course(s). They will ensure the provision of an efficient and professional service to students and academic staff associated with the course working closely with relevant Professional Staff and the Course Director.

Responsibilities

To respond professionally to queries from staff, students & prospective students.

To maintain the student records system (SITS) and student files, ensuring student records are up to date and accurate at all times and ensure the smooth running of the programme working collaboratively with others course officers academics and all relevant stakeholders.

Person Specification

  • Experience of using SITS.
  • Experience of Moodle (or other VLE).
  • Ability to compile statistical information and produce reports.
  • Committee servicing experience.
