The Division of Social Work and Social Care is seeking to appoint an experienced academic with a background in Social Work practice and with staff management experience to play a leading role in the future development of Social Work at the university.

The Division of Social Work and Social Care is a well-established provider of professional education with excellent partnership arrangements and an extensive track record of working with various local, national and international stakeholders. Staff within the Division are regular publishers in national and international outlets and are recognised experts in their fields of expertise.

Applicants must hold a recognised social work qualification and be either registered/eligible for registration with the HCPC. They should also hold a PhD or have a concrete plan for the completion of a PhD and have experience of teaching, academic administration, staff management and research. Experience of the management of new developments with Local Authorities would be welcome.
