Fixed Term appointment for 12 months

The Energy Innovation Support Office (EISO) is the UHI focal point for the co-ordination of industrial collaboration activities across the Energy specialisms of Ocean Energy, Bio-energy and Oil and Gas.

Working in liaison with UHI Academic Partners (including SAMS), the Energy Innovation Support Manager will lead the activity of the EISO and be the primary university interface into the Energy business community, with responsibility for generating revenue opportunities for the partnership.

The position will be employed by SAMS and based in Inverness.

This full time post will involve working 37 hours per week and funding has been secured for 12 months.  There may be further funding to support this role for a further term but there are no guarantees at this time.

Grade 6 salary range is £32,004 - £36,001

Grade 7 salary range is £38,183 - £42,955
